This contest, however, has been really tight across the years, with Lightning Base holding a 5% lead over SiteGround & GoDaddy. The real question as we transition into 2019 is whether our new hosts Flywheel, Kinsta, Pressidium & WP Engine will provide a new level of competition?

The battle for top billing in Europe seems to be limited to just 2 hosts, Lightning Base & SiteGround. The difference from North America above, is that Lightning Base holds a slightly smaller lead at the top.

Note: No testing was performed across Europe in H2 2018, instead Latin America was tested for the 1st time.
