2016 Speed Study Results
The combo of WP Rocket & Cloudflare were most effective at speeding up our hosts in 2016.
H1 2017 Speed Study Results
- Once again WP Rocket & Cloudflare were the fastest in the 1st half of 2017.
- The big improver was the combo of W3 Total Cache & Cloudflare, just 0.01 sec behind.
H2 2017 Speed Study Results
- Surprisingly, the addition of KeyCDN & MaxCDN didn’t result in an improvement in speed.
- The other key takeaway was that KeyCDN comfortably outperformed MaxCDN!!
H1 2018 Speed Study Results
- After expanding our tests to 8 Caching Plugins, it was W3 Total Cache & WP Rocket that sped up our sites the most in H1 2018.
H2 2018 Speed Study Results
- After changing our test locations to Vancouver, São Paulo & Mumbai; it was WP Rocket that was the fastest caching plugin in H2 2018.
