Speed Test – Week 113 Summary Table

The fastest host this week is GoDaddy with a time of 2.25s, which is a long way off the all time Sydney record of 1.02s, which was set by Namecheap in Week 71.

On our last visit to Sydney (with Hyper Cache on board in Week 110), the average load time for our 8 hosts was 3.04s. This week with Comet Cache, the average load time was noticeably faster at 2.56s.

This is the third and final week of the Comet Cache Speed Study, and Comet Cache has comfortably outperformed Hyper Cache.

Next week we’ll switch up our caching plugin to WP Fastest Cache, let’s find out if it can be faster than Comet Cache?
