Uptime Test – Week 113 Summary Table

Our hosts have recorded a solid uptime performance this week, with 5 hosts achieving the ultimate goal of 100% Uptime (6 hosts achieved 100% in Week 112):

  1. HostGator
  2. Lightning Base
  3. Bluehost
  4. SiteGround
  5. Namecheap

This week’s best performer in Asia Pacific is HostGator, with a perfect uptime and the second fastest average response time of 910ms.

The last time we tested from Asia Pacific (with Hyper Cache setup in Week 110), the average response time across our 8 hosts was 1,731ms, while this week with Comet Cache on board, it is significantly faster at 1,075ms.

This is the third and final week of our Comet Cache Speed Study and Comet Cache has comfortably outperformed Hyper Cache when it comes to Response Times.

Next week we change up the Caching Plugin to WP Fastest Cache, I wonder whether it will actually prove to be the fastest Caching Plugin?
