Speed Test – Week 89 Summary Table
The fastest host this week is SiteGround with a time of 2.53s, which is a long way off the all time Sydney record of 1.02s, which was set by Namecheap in Week 71.
On our last visit to Sydney with MaxCDN, Cloudflare & WP Super Cache setup (in Week 86), the average load time for our 8 hosts was 3.13s. This week with W3 Total Cache replacing WP Super Cache, the average load time is noticeably faster at 2.79s.
This is the third and final week of our MaxCDN, Cloudflare & W3 Total Cache Speed Study, and W3 Total Cache has outperformed WP Super Cache.
Next week we’ll be turning off all caching & CDN solutions. This will allow us to get a 2018 baseline before kicking off New Speed Studies across the rest of the year.
