Desktop Speed Test – Week 70 Summary Table
The winner this week is Lightning Base with a time of 0.88s, which is just behind the all time London record of 0.87s, that was set by HostGator in Week 64.
On our last visit to London with Cloudflare & WP Super Cache setup (in Week 67), the average load time for our 8 hosts was 1.65s. This week with Cloudflare & W3 Total Cache, the average load time has dramatically improved to 1.01s.
This is the second week of our Cloudflare & W3 Total Cache Speed Study, and W3 Total Cache continues to dominate WP Super Cache.
Next week we’ll change up the test location to Sydney, will W3 Total Cache finish strong?
