Uptime Test – Week 134 Summary Table

Our hosts have recorded a solid uptime performance this week, with 5 hosts achieving the ultimate goal of 100% Uptime (4 hosts achieved 100% in Week 133):

  1. GoDaddy
  2. Lightning Base
  3. SiteGround
  4. Namecheap
  5. Bluehost

This week’s best performer in Asia Pacific is GoDaddy, with a perfect uptime and the fastest average response time of 571ms.

The last time we tested from Asia Pacific (with Comet Cache setup in Week 131), the average response time across our 8 hosts was 868ms, while this week with WP Super Cache on board, it is much slower at 1,541ms.

This is the third and final week of our WP Super Cache Speed Study and WP Super Cache has been very disappointing compared to Comet Cache, when it comes to Response Times.

For the next week, I will change up our caching plugin to W3 Total Cache. I wonder whether W3 Total Cache will be able to maintain their crown as our fastest caching plugin?
