Desktop Speed Test – Week 32 Summary Table
The winner this week is A2 Hosting with a time of 0.90s. This time is just behind the Vancouver record of 0.76s set by Bluehost in Week 28.
On our last visit to Vancouver with CloudFlare & WP Rocket setup (in Week 28), the average page load time for our 8 hosts was 0.83s. This week with CloudFlare & W3 Total Cache, the average load time has dropped significantly to 1.51s.
This is the 2nd week of our Speed Study on CloudFlare & W3 Total Cache. The results continue to point to CloudFlare performing much better with WP Rocket than W3 Total Cache. Will this continue over the next 2 weeks of testing?
Next week we are off to Dallas where the record load time is 1.02s, set by HostGator. Will we get anywhere near this?
