Uptime Test – Week 126 Summary Table

Our hosts have recorded a solid uptime performance this week, with 6 hosts achieving the ultimate goal of 100% Uptime (6 hosts also achieved 100% in Week 125):

  1. Lightning Base
  2. HostGator
  3. GoDaddy
  4. Bluehost
  5. Namecheap
  6. Web Hosting Hub

This week’s best performer in North America is Lightning Base, with a perfect uptime and the fastest average response time of 113ms.

The last time we tested from North America (with Simple Cache setup in Week 123), the average response time across our 8 hosts was 323ms, while this week with Cache Enabler on board, it is significantly faster at 235ms.

This is the first week of our Cache Enabler Speed Study and the early signs are pointing to Cache Enabler being quicker than Simple Cache, when it comes to Response Times.

For the next week, I will change up our test location to Latin America. I wonder whether Cache Enabler can continue outperforming Simple Cache?
